  3. If insurance company fails to pay for a claim, patient receiving services will be responsible party for payment, and must be paid at time of notification, unless of other arrangement.
  4. 24 hour cancellation policy. Unless your health care provider is given 24 hours advance notice of cancellation of treatment, the full price of the treatment will be charged. 6. Not medical services or advice. The information on this site is general in nature and should not be substituted for professional health care service.
  1. Eating before a treatment. Please ensure that you have eaten 1-2 hours prior to an acupuncture session. Low blood sugar may increase sensitivity to acupuncture. If eating 1 hour before treatment, please eat lightly as it is not good to receive an acupuncture treatment session on a full stomach.
  2. Alcohol and or recreational drug use should be avoided as they may impair the efficacy of the treatment, and can sometimes cause light-headedness or excessive lethargy that passes with sleep.
  3. Medication. It is important that your Practitioner is fully aware of all current medication you are taking, including contraceptives, pain, nutritional, antibiotics or any other supplements or over the counter products. Please bring with you to first session or an updated list.
  4. Exercise. Please do not do vigorous aerobic activities after your treatment, as this will disrupt the flow of corrective energy that happens following an acupuncture treatment.
